Definition of an Entrepreneur

Interesting piece in Inc. Magazine citing the work of HBS professor Howard Stevenson in the late 1970s.

Stevenson captured the essence of entrepreneurship in 25 words:

Entrepreneurship is the pursuit of opportunity without regard to resources currently controlled.1

And this, says Inc's Editor-in-Chief and article author, Eric Schurenberg, "is what makes entrepreneurship so friggin' hard. And so friggin' necessary."
