This section of the site is also going to require some time to do properly. But in it, I'd like to share some of my observations and experience in investing in companies. My observations will come primarily from my experiences in the following areas:

• angel investor
• partner in a venture capital firm
• "sweat equity" investing wherein instead of capital, I am investing time and other resources in helping build a firm
• private equity

I don't intend to just provide a history here, but to take some time to explain what we were trying to do and what happened. I'll post relevant updates in the blog with a link back so you can follow.
